The cottage is beautifully renovated and despite not having a garden, the BBQ area was a nice touch. The cottage is small but plenty big enough for 4 with a well thought out interior design to ensure you comfortably have everything you need. We had a fantastic time meeting up with family and exploring the area.

Such a lovely cottage that has been renovated to a very high standard. The owners have thought about everything you might need during your stay and it was so well equipped which made it home from home. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and family.

Where to start!? The minute we walked through the door this beautiful little cottage blew us away! It has been renovated to a very high standard by the owners and the interior design is fabulous. There is a lovely outside eating area to the side of the cottage, fully equipped with a Weber BBQ. The attention to detail throughout is excellent, they have literally thought of everything you might need. It has 2 beautiful bedrooms & the Master is huge. We loved every minute & have already booked again for next year! Thank you Simon & Rachel

Johnsons Cottage has been renovated to such a high standard. The kitchen is really well thought out & everything you need is there. The master bedroom is beautiful. Taddington is a quiet & pretty village, and we highly recommend walking up the hill on one of the numerous footpaths in the village. The view looking down onto the village is fab. We had a great few days eating, drinking, walking & relaxing. We highly recommend Johnsons Cottage for a visit to the Peak District. We stayed for 4 nights & wished we had booked for longer!

My friend Jayne & I spent 7 nights there in June. So much to do with wonderful walks & scenery. Bakewell by the river is amazing & Buxton with it's parks is unbelievable. We also went down into the caves at Speedwell Cavern.
The cottage has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. It is truly beautiful & the attention to detail throughout is to such a high standard. Well done to both Simon & Rachel.

My friends Jean , Richard and I watched the renovation of the cottage through photos. I couldn’t wait to see it. We loved it at first sight and rebooked again for October. The cottage is fantastic situated in a quiet, friendly village. There is plenty to do and lots of places to visit. We particularly enjoyed a trip on the Peak Railway and a visit to the local brewery!! Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a lovely stay at johnsons cottage. This lovely little cottage is in a lovely little village and a short drive from some of Derbyshires finest scenery and towns. Can definitely recommend the bike hire around ladybower reservoir this was a fantastic day out and would be fun for all the family.

Well what can I say stunning little cottage situated in a lovely scenic area.Local amenities a short drive or bus ride away(bus stop just across the way )so perfectly located to a number of lovely villages and towns and some lovely walks.The Hosts nothing is to much trouble for and the lovely cottage has all you need would highly recommend
